Highlights of the Weekend 
Blantyre is the kind of place where I could easily slip into a routine. There’s the walking trial around the property to burn off a few calories after breakfast. There’s the toasty spa for a soak in the hot tub followed by reading the newspapers in front of the fire. There’s a day bed where an afternoon nap left me revived for dinner.

With just one glance at the guest book, it is easy to see that Blantyre touches the lives of every guest that crosses the threshold. Whether they arrive for culinary travel, to reconnect with a loved one, or just to breathe the fresh air and sit down with a good book, this country house hotel is one that the family who built the original home, the Patersons, would be quite proud of.
