Shark Fishing aboard 'The Provider' off Nantucket - Mobile
If you like the movie JAWS you'll love this short video fishing aboard "The Provider." We cruised out about twenty-five miles off shore to a top-secret fishing hole between Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard.
The renowned Captain Bob Decosta was skippering Felix Charney's lucky boat and getting it ready for the Monster Shark Tournament. To bad he didn't have us onboard the following week because within thirty minutes we hooked a 250 pound Mako shark and then a 350 pound Thresher shark too.
An epic day on the water. We would have won the tournament hands down! The fish were released unharmed.
